JusticeBlox | National Competition on Legal Aid & Access to Justice Registration Deadline: 27 January 2026

About JusticeBlox
JusticeBlox is a national-level competition inviting the biggest, brightest, and boldest ideas to address India’s legal aid and access-to-justice challenges. It moves beyond moot courts and theory, encouraging students to design real, scalable solutions for a justice system that works for people.

The competition is a collaboration between NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and Migration and Asylum Project (MAP).

What the Competition Seeks
JusticeBlox invites proposals that imagine large-scale, systemic interventions that could one day be adopted by legal aid institutions and justice-sector actors. Ideas may focus on, inter alia:

  • Strengthening last-mile legal awareness

  • Improving the functioning of legal aid institutions

  • Rethinking training, incentives, and support for lawyers and PLVs

  • Using data and technology to resolve systemic bottlenecks

The emphasis is on practical, inclusive, and grounded solutions, applying an intersectional lens and working with existing legal aid systems.

Eligibility
Open to students from UGC- and BCI-recognised law schools across India.
