We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advocate based in Mumbai to represent our organization in ongoing and upcoming legal matters before District Courts and the Bombay High Court.
About the Opportunity
This is a case-by-case engagement offering exposure to a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters. The role involves independent case handling, legal research, drafting, and client representation, with opportunities to interact with Mumbai’s legal fraternity.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle civil and criminal litigation matters in District Courts and Bombay High Court
• Draft pleadings, petitions, applications, and legal notices
• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and settlements
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Ensure compliance with court procedures and timely follow-ups
Eligibility & Requirements
• Enrolled Advocate with a valid practice certificate
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mumbai’s District Courts and Bombay High Court
• Strong knowledge of civil/criminal procedure, case law, and litigation practices
• Excellent drafting and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and diligently
Preferred Experience:
• Handling matters related to property, contracts, civil disputes
• Established professional network within Mumbai’s legal community
