Position
Assistant Manager – Intellectual Property & Compliance
Experience
PQE: 1–3 years
Key Responsibilities
1. Intellectual Property Rights

Advise on trademark searches, registrations, and brand protection

Handle trademark disputes and coordinate with external counsel

Manage copyright protection, licensing, and infringement matters

Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements (licensing, distribution, technology transfer)

Represent the company in IP litigation (trademark, copyright, patent disputes)
-
Oversee IP portfolio management and commercialization strategies
-
Conduct IP audits and implement risk mitigation measures
-
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and business teams to identify and protect new IP
-
Educate internal stakeholders on IP policies and best practices
2. Compliance Management (Complinity)
-
Ensure 100% compliance across all organizational functions
-
Track, follow up, and validate compliance submissions on the Complinity tool
-
Identify new legal compliances and coordinate with the Complinity team for mapping
3. Privacy Law & Regulatory Tracking
-
Maintain a repository of applicable privacy and data protection laws
-
Track regulatory changes and ensure implementation across functions
-
Communicate compliance requirements and monitor adherence
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law
-
1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
