About the Internship

The Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is seeking law students and recent graduates to join as Jeevika LEAP & Case Analysis Interns.

This is a hands-on legal empowerment internship, focusing on the implementation of the Street Vendors Act and real-world case handling. Interns will work closely with vendors, lawyers, and field teams on live cases involving:

  • Municipal fines

  • Challans

  • Harassment and regulatory challenges

This role emphasizes operations, case analysis, and systemic learning, providing practical exposure beyond classroom theory.

Internship Details

  • Duration: Minimum 2 months

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Type: Paid, full-time

  • Location: Field-based / Real-world legal settings

Eligibility

  • Law students or recent law graduates

  • Passion for legal aid, public interest law, and fieldwork
