About the Role
Rebright Partners is hiring an Associate for its Bangalore office (in person). This role is suited for candidates with strong financial and analytical backgrounds who are looking to build or strengthen a career in venture capital.
For the first two years, the Associate will primarily handle portfolio management and fund operations including:

Tracking and analysing portfolio performance

Supporting fund operations such as valuations, performance tracking and investor reporting

Assisting in fundraising efforts and preparing investor materials

Coordinating with the Tokyo team and management

Supporting portfolio companies with strategy, hiring, fundraising and BD initiatives
These responsibilities account for 70 percent of the role’s focus
The remaining 30 percent of the role includes involvement in deal sourcing, evaluation and execution, including market research, thesis development, due diligence, modelling, memo writing and assisting in the investment process alongside legal and founder teams
Who Can Apply
According to the qualifications listed:

CA or CFA is required; MBA preferred

Minimum three years of relevant experience in investment banking or Big Four financial advisory

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

Prior VC or startup exposure is preferred

High self motivation and communication skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment.
Career Growth
Upon strong performance, the Associate may transition to a senior role after two years, shifting to a primarily investment oriented portfolio including sourcing, evaluating and executing deals. The firm values fresh perspectives and collaborative culture building.
