About the Organization
The Irish Environmental Network (IEN) is a nationally recognized umbrella body representing a diverse range of environmental non-governmental organisations across Ireland. Established to amplify collective civil society voices, IEN works at the intersection of environmental protection, social justice, and sustainable development.
Through evidence-based research, strategic advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration, IEN actively engages with policymakers, institutions, and communities to influence legislation and public policy. The Network plays a vital role in ensuring that Ireland’s environmental responsibilities, climate commitments, and social equity goals remain firmly embedded within national policy frameworks as well as Ireland’s international obligations under global environmental and development agreements.
About Coalition 2030

Coalition 2030 focuses on monitoring Ireland’s progress towards the SDGs, engaging with government institutions, raising public awareness, and holding decision-makers accountable. The coalition works across local, national, and international levels to promote policies that address inequality, climate action, environmental protection, and inclusive growth, ensuring that no one is left behind.
