DAKSH is inviting applications for the role of Research Associate to support its direct tax systems reform initiative. The position is suited for early-career professionals interested in research, institutional reform, and data-driven analysis.
Role responsibilities

Conduct research on litigation, assessments, and dispute resolution

Analyse pendency trends, disposal patterns, and tax-related datasets
-
Support stakeholder workshops, roundtables, and consultations

Draft policy briefs, blogs, and case studies

Work closely with senior professionals from the Income Tax Department
Who should apply

0–2 years of experience in tax, legal research, or public policy
-
Strong writing, analytical, and organisational skills
-
Interest in data, public institutions, and systemic reform
-
LL.B./LL.M./CA (Master’s in Public Policy is an advantage)
