This is an unpaid internship, designed for students who are serious about developing their research and drafting skills while understanding how a law office functions in practice.
Position Overview The Legal Intern will work directly with advocates of the firm and will be involved in day-to-day case preparation, legal research and documentation. The internship is suitable for law students who want to build a strong foundation in litigation and advisory work and who are willing to treat the internship like a professional commitment rather than a formality.

Key Responsibilities Interns will be assigned work that mirrors the responsibilities of junior members of the team. These will include:
Conducting comprehensive legal research on questions arising in civil, criminal and corporate matters
Drafting legal documents such as notices, petitions, applications, replies and basic contractual or advisory correspondence
Assisting senior advocates in case preparation, including organizing documents, preparing brief notes and compiling paper books
Supporting court filing work and maintaining case files and internal legal databases
Attending court proceedings and client meetings, wherever feasible, to observe and understand practical aspects of advocacy and client interaction
Preparing case summaries, research notes and legal memoranda for ongoing matters
Reviewing and analysing relevant statutes, case law and legal precedents to support arguments and strategy
Eligibility and Qualifications The firm is looking for law students who can contribute meaningfully and learn actively. Applicants should:
Be currently enrolled in a 3 year or 5 year LL.B. program at a recognized university
Demonstrate strong research and analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret case law and statutory material
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Show comfort with legal drafting and a willingness to refine drafts based on feedback
Possess basic knowledge of Indian legal procedures and court systems or be willing to quickly familiarise themselves with them
Be attentive to detail and capable of meeting deadlines consistently
Be proficient in MS Office, especially Word and basic formatting
