About the Chambers
Malaviya Law Chambers, led by disputes lawyer Anushree Malaviya, is inviting applications for internships for the period of December 2025 and January 2026. The practice is focused on contentious work and advisory, offering exposure to research-intensive and drafting-oriented assignments. Internship Period and Mode
The internship is available for the months of December 2025 and January 2026.
The office is located in South Delhi. While it is an office-based internship, the option of remote work is available when feasible, depending on work requirements and the nature of assignments.

Nature of Work
Interns will be closely involved in the intellectual and drafting backbone of the practice. The core responsibilities include:

  • Research on questions of law and procedure relevant to ongoing matters and advisory work

  • Drafting of pleadings, including petitions, applications and replies

  • Drafting of legal notices and responses

  • Assisting in the drafting and review of contracts and transactional documentation

  • Preparing legal opinions and structured research notes under guidance

This role is particularly suitable for interns who enjoy written work, conceptual clarity and detailed legal analysis rather than purely clerical tasks.

Office Location: South Delhi
Remote Work: May be permitted where feasible and appropriate, subject to office requirements

Stipend
Interns shall receive compensation. The exact amount or structure may be discussed with selected candidates or communicated at the time of confirmation.

Candidate Profile
The chambers is likely to prefer candidates who:

  • Are current law students with a genuine interest in disputes, drafting and legal research

  • Have prior exposure to moots, research projects, internships or writing work that demonstrates strong analytical ability

  • Possess good written English, including the ability to structure arguments logically and present them clearly

  • Are reliable, responsive on email and comfortable working with timelines

  • Are willing to engage seriously with reading, research and repeated refinement of drafts
