About:
Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is expanding its Trademarks and Copyright team and is looking for a Principal Associate with 7–9 years of post-qualification experience. The role offers exposure to managing large trademark portfolios, advising clients on strategic IP matters, and mentoring a team of associates and paralegals.
Eligibility:

7–9 years PQE in trademark prosecution

Strong experience with uncontested matters, including availability searches, filings, responses, show-cause hearings, bulk renewals, and portfolio management

Experience in mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals

Ability to provide strategic business and client advisory
Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end trademark prosecution, including responses, show-cause hearings, and Registry follow-ups
-
Advise on availability searches, filings, consents, chain of title, and foreign filings coordination

Handle oppositions, cancellations, and contested matters as required

Mentor senior associates, associates, and paralegals

Advise clients on IP strategy aligned with their business needs
