About the Opportunity
Daughters of Themis: International Network of Women Business Scholars has opened its call for papers for the 11th Annual Workshop to be held from 25–30 May 2026 on the island of Kea, Greece. The workshop will explore the theme “Where is Justice in Corporate Sustainability?”, inviting scholars to critically analyse justice within corporate sustainability frameworks through feminist, postcolonial, decolonial, and interdisciplinary lenses.
This is a prestigious, intimate workshop known for deep academic engagement, collaborative dialogue, and supportive peer feedback.

Eligibility
The call is open to:

  • All women scholars in business-related fields, including law, economics, management, sociology, political science, natural sciences, and related disciplines

  • Existing members of Daughters of Themis

  • New women scholars interested in joining the network

  • Researchers globally, especially from the Global South and low-income regions

Workshop Focus & Expectations
Submissions may address:

  • Feminist, Indigenous, or decolonial perspectives on corporate sustainability

  • Justice dimensions (or lack thereof) in EU and global sustainability regulations

  • Theoretical, analytical, or empirical critiques of risk-based regulatory approaches

  • Proposals for integrating justice into corporate sustainability frameworks
    Selected participants must submit:

  • Abstract (max 500 words) by 14 January 2026

  • Short working paper (max 2,500 words) by 9 May 2026
    A peer-reviewed joint publication of selected papers is planned. Only original, unpublished work is eligible.
