About the Organisation:

Investment Funds Direct Limited (IFDL), part of M&G Group and regulated by the FCA, is seeking to strengthen its Second Line of Defence team with a Data Privacy Analyst.
Eligibility:

Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services

Prior exposure to Privacy Risk, Operational Risk, Risk Management, or Internal Audit preferred

Strong analytical skills, risk understanding, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks
-
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
-
Qualifications such as IAPP or DSCI are an advantage but not mandatory
-
Ability to work remotely and collaborate in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
Roles & Responsibilities:
-
Support privacy governance, oversight, and compliance processes across IFDL
-
Analyse privacy risk data (RCSAs, KRIs, breaches, events) and prepare consolidated reports

Assist the Chief Data Protection Officer in fulfilling statutory responsibilities

Contribute to developing privacy controls, guidelines, and risk mitigation strategies

Provide insights into industry trends and regulatory developments

Support internal/external audits and track remediation

Maintain stakeholder coordination, risk culture, and documentation standards

Ensure adherence to the organisation’s Code of Conduct and complete all mandatory training
