About:
VIT-AP University invites applications for Research Assistant and Field Investigator positions under an ICSSR-funded project titled: “The Impact of Jal Jeevan Mission on Water Accessibility and Quality: An Empirical Study in Leh Ladakh.” The project is led by Dr. Sajad Nabi Dar, Assistant Professor, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, VIT-AP University, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility:

Research Assistant: Postgraduate in Social Science with at least 55% marks and NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Field Investigator: Postgraduate in Social Science with at least 55% marks.

Desirable: Experience in research writing, data analysis, and proficiency in SPSS, R, ArcGIS, or similar tools. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct research and assist in project-related data collection and analysis.

Support report writing and documentation.

For Field Investigators: perform on-ground data collection in Leh Ladakh.

Contribute to the empirical study on water accessibility and quality under the Jal Jeevan Mission project.
