About:
Applications are invited for a short-term Research Assistant position under the ICSSR-funded project titled “Endometriosis Voices: Women’s Everyday Lives and Treatment Experiences in Cities of India”, led by Dr. Bijoya Roy (Centre for Women’s Development Studies, CWDS) and Dr. Sreeparna Chattopadhyay (Manipal University, Bangalore). The project explores women’s lived experiences of endometriosis and aims to bridge gaps between medical discourse and everyday realities.
Eligibility:

Postgraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, or Public Health.

Strong research and writing skills, with demonstrated sensitivity to issues of gender and health.

Prior fieldwork or qualitative research experience will be an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conducting fieldwork and interviews in Bangalore and Delhi.

Assisting in data collection, transcription, and analysis.
-
Supporting the preparation of research reports, summaries, and presentations.

Collaborating with the lead investigators on research dissemination activities.
Location & Duration:

Work based in Bangalore and Delhi.

Remuneration: ₹37,000 per month.

Short-term contractual engagement.
