The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is inviting applications for its 2026 Fund Internship Program (FIP) within the Legal Department. This is a prestigious opportunity for law students interested in international law, financial regulation, and global economic governance to gain first-hand experience working with one of the world’s leading multilateral institutions.
The internship will last for 10–12 weeks, taking place between June and September 2026. Selected candidates will work under the supervision of experienced IMF lawyers on projects that align with the department’s work program and the intern’s specific interests.
Eligibility:

Law students currently enrolled in an LLM or equivalent postgraduate program.
