About the Role:
TMPL Consultants, a leading legal recruitment firm co-founded by Kavita Bhargava, is inviting applications on behalf of a Tier 1 law firm for positions in its Direct Tax and M&A Practice based in Mumbai. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-value M&A transactions, internal restructurings, and tax advisory matters with some of the best professionals in the industry.
Eligibility:

Associate: CA/LLB graduates from batches 2021, 2022, or 2023 with prior experience in M&A Tax.

Senior Associate: CA/LLB professionals from batches 2019, 2020, or 2021 with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax, Transaction Tax, Internal Restructuring, or Succession Planning.

Sound knowledge of Direct Tax Laws and practical exposure to Tax Advisory required.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Advising on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.

Conducting due diligence and assisting in transaction structuring.

Drafting tax opinions, memoranda, and compliance documents.

Supporting senior teams in client interactions and cross-functional tax advisory work.
