About:
The Faculty of Psychology, University of Vienna is inviting applications for a 4-year predoctoral PhD position in the psychology of aging. This role provides an excellent opportunity to conduct research on the social and environmental aspects of aging, contribute to international publications, and gain teaching and administrative experience in an academic setting.
Eligibility:

Completed Master’s degree or Diploma in Psychology with excellent academic results.

Strong knowledge in psychology of aging, methodology, and statistics.
-
Competence in teaching, e-learning, and excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 level). German language skills are desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Participate in research on aging, teaching, and departmental administration.
-
Conduct independent lectures and support student learning.
-
Assist in acquiring third-party funding and contribute to publications.
-
Complete and finalize your dissertation within 12–18 months.
