Eligibility and Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as an immigration paralegal (asylum-focused) within a law firm.

Strong familiarity with EOIR and USCIS systems and procedures.

Proficient in preparing and filing asylum applications, motions, and case tracking.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bilingual fluency in any foreign language (required).

Proficiency with legal case management software.

Ability to manage sensitive client communication with empathy and professionalism.
Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare and file affirmative and defensive asylum applications.
-
Draft and manage legal motions (change of venue, continuances, etc.).

Conduct country conditions research and compile supporting evidence.

Maintain organized case files and court calendars.
-
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress and procedures.

Collaborate with attorneys on legal strategy and hearing preparation.

Address EAD clock and court-related issues.
