Tara Climate Foundation is inviting applications for the position of Grants Officer, a key role within its growing grants management team. This position offers an opportunity to work with one of Asia’s leading philanthropic climate organisations dedicated to advancing sustainable, equitable, and low-carbon development across the region.

Tara Climate Foundation is a philanthropic organisation committed to accelerating Asia’s energy transition and climate action. Headquartered in Singapore, Tara operates across East, Southeast, and South Asia (excluding India and China), supporting over 300 organisations in 13 countries through grantmaking, convening, and research. The Foundation partners with civil society, businesses, and governments to drive systemic climate solutions.

Eligibility

  • 3–5 years of experience in administrative, grants management, or operations roles.

  • Proficiency in English and Korean (both written and verbal).

  • Strong IT skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Prior experience in multi-country grant portfolios or international non-profits is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Sustainable/International Development.

  • Must be based in South Korea and legally eligible to work in the country.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal teams and grantees to ensure smooth grant operations.

  • Review proposals, process financial documents, and manage contracting and payment workflows.

  • Support due diligence, compliance checks, and financial monitoring of grants.

  • Maintain accurate records in the grants management system (Fluxx) and SharePoint.

  • Contribute to process improvement, team learning, and cross-department collaboration.

  • Uphold Tara’s mission, values, and commitment to transparency and learning.
