The University of Oslo invites submissions for the international conference “The Refugee Convention at 75: Perspectives Within and Beyond,” to be held on June 22–23, 2026. Organized as part of the BEYOND Project, this event marks the 75th anniversary of the Refugee Convention and seeks to explore its legacy, evolving interpretations, and future directions in refugee protection.
About the Conference
This conference aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and advocates to reflect critically on the continuing relevance of the Refugee Convention in a rapidly changing global landscape. It welcomes diverse disciplinary perspectives on the law, history, politics, and lived realities of refugee protection.

Submissions may address, but are not limited to:

Eligibility
Open to academics, practitioners, researchers, and advocates engaged in refugee and forced migration studies.
Submission Guidelines
