The University of Salzburg is inviting applications for the position of Student Research Assistant (BA or MA level) to join the European Research Council (ERC) Project INCONEX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in European politics and parliamentary studies.
About the Project
The INCONEX Project (“Inconsistencies in Representation? Parliamentarism in Europe between Linkage and Autonomy”) is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and led by Dr. Lucy Kinski. The project explores how national parliaments engage in European Union affairs and how these interactions shape democratic representation and accountability within the EU framework.
Eligibility

Open to BA or MA-level students in political science, law, European studies, or related fields.

Strong academic interest in European politics, governance, or institutions.

Excellent English language skills (knowledge of German is an advantage).

Research, data management, or academic writing experience will be considered an asset.
Roles and Responsibilities

Assisting in data collection, literature reviews, and document analysis.

Supporting ongoing research tasks under the supervision of the project team.
