Dr. Swati Singh Parmar, Assistant Professor of International Law at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, is inviting international law scholars and teachers from India to contribute chapters for an upcoming edited volume titled “Indian Approach(es) to International Law.”

About the Book:
The project aims to explore how India perceives, interprets, and contributes to the development of international law—whether as a coherent national approach or through diverse, fragmented practices. The book seeks to fill a major academic gap by critically examining India’s engagement with international legal doctrines and principles.

Suggested Chapter Themes (Open for Expansion):

  1. Indian Approach to State Recognition

  2. Indian Approach to the Law of the Seas

  3. Indian Approach to Environmental Law

  4. Indian Approach to State Succession

  5. Indian Approach to State Jurisdiction

  6. Or any other topic reflecting India’s unique or evolving perspective on international law.

Academics, researchers, and teachers of international law based in India who can contribute original, analytical work on India’s engagement with international legal principles.
