About the Role:
A leading organization is seeking a Senior Data Privacy Specialist to join its client-based team in Gurgaon. This is a senior-level role offering the opportunity to lead privacy governance and compliance initiatives under evolving global and domestic data protection regimes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in privacy frameworks, data governance, and regulatory compliance implementation.

Experience Required: Minimum 13 years overall, with 4+ years in Data Privacy

Minimum Qualifications:
-
At least 13 years of overall experience in Information Security and Data Privacy.

Minimum 4 years of experience with privacy regulations such as GDPR and DPDPA, including managing DSR, DPIAs, Consent, Cookie, TPRM, and RoPA lifecycles.

At least 2 years of experience in Data Discovery, Classification, Data Governance, Data Mapping & Cataloguing, and Data Security Posture Management.

Strong command of English communication (written and verbal).

Certification in OneTrust or Securiti.ai preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct privacy gap assessments, reviews, and develop DPDPA-aligned privacy frameworks, procedures, and policies.

Apply Privacy by Design principles across business processes.

Implement and monitor DPDPA compliance using Privacy Management tools.

Design, develop, and maintain modules in OneTrust or Securiti.ai (e.g., Data Discovery, Classification, Governance).

Manage Data Privacy Management tool modules such as Notice, DPIA, Cookie & Consent, DSR, Retention, and Incident Management.

Support Data Security Posture Management activities using enterprise tools.

Perform PIA/DPIA assessments for risk management, including third-party and vendor evaluations.
Mandatory Requirement:
This position requires working from the office, five days a week, at the client’s Gurgaon location.
