About the Opportunity
The School of Public Policy at The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position as Associate Professor or Professor of Public Policy at its University Park campus. Eligibility and Qualifications

Ph.D. in Public Policy or a related field (required at the time of appointment).

Demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and scholarly achievement in relevant policy areas.

Proven ability to teach courses such as policy analysis, public policy economics, statistics for public policy, or public finance.

Candidates for Professor must show evidence of a substantial research record and field leadership, while Associate Professor candidates should demonstrate a strong record of research and teaching excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate public policy courses, including core and elective subjects aligned with expertise.

Maintain an active research program and contribute to service within the School and University.

Participate in NASPAA accreditation assessment activities and other institutional initiatives.

On-site, in-residence teaching is essential; online instruction may be assigned depending on programmatic needs.
