About the Fellowship
The UN Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC) and the United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) are inviting applications for the Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme. This 12–24 month fellowship, based in Bonn, Germany, provides young professionals from the Global South with the opportunity to contribute to international climate policy and research.

Eligibility

  • Nationals of developing countries (priority given to women from Least Developed Countries)

  • Aged 32 years or younger

  • Final-term or recent graduates with a Master’s/PhD in climate/environment, communications, international relations, or related fields

  • Up to 2 years of professional experience (not mandatory)

  • Strong English communication skills
