About the Role
The Ethox Centre is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Ethics and Infectious Disease to join the Oxford – Johns Hopkins Global Infectious Disease Ethics Collaborative (GLIDE) and the Pandemic Sciences Institute. The role involves conducting research on ethical issues in infectious disease and pandemics, presenting findings at GLIDE workshops, and collaborating with colleagues at the Berman Institute.

Eligibility

  • Postdoctoral level qualification in Ethics, Bioethics, Public Health, or related fields

  • Strong research background in ethics, infectious diseases, or pandemic studies

  • Ability to collaborate in multi-institutional research projects

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct collaborative research on ethical issues in infectious diseases and pandemics

  • Participate in the GLIDE workshop series and exchange programme with Johns Hopkins University

  • Contribute to publications, policy briefs, and project outputs

Location & Duration
Oxford | Fixed-term post for 2 years
