About the Fellowship
The Information Society Project (ISP), Yale Law School, invites applications for its 2026–27 Resident Fellowship. The ISP is a leading center for interdisciplinary scholarship on law, technology, and society.
Fellowship Focus
While applications on a broad range of topics are welcome, the ISP especially encourages proposals related to:

Artificial Intelligence and the digital public sphere

Freedom of speech and content moderation
-
Privacy and data protection
-
Antitrust and competition in the digital economy

Algorithmic governance
Fellowship Expectations
Resident Fellows are expected to:
-
Produce and publish original scholarship
-
Participate actively in ISP events and discussions
-
Be on-site at Yale Law School at least three days a week
-
Contribute to ISP programming and initiatives
