About the Workshop:
Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), in collaboration with Maynooth University, is organising a workshop on “Data Migration and Mobilities: Towards a New Research Agenda” scheduled to be held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 8–9 April 2026.
This workshop aims to bring together scholars and researchers to explore theoretical, methodological, and empirical aspects of data migration and mobilities. It seeks to establish a new research agenda addressing how data practices intersect with migration and mobility in the digital age.
Eligibility:
The call is open to academics, researchers, and practitioners engaged in studies of data, migration, mobilities, digital governance, and related fields.
Submissions:

Abstracts of up to 250 words are invited.

Contributions may include ongoing or completed research, conceptual pieces, case studies, position papers, or work-in-progress.

Deadline for submission: 15 October 2025.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by November 2025.
