About the Fellowship
NLSIU has announced its new Research Fellowships for the academic year 2025–26. These fellowships aim to advance original scholarship in law, social sciences, public policy, and related fields, with a focus on five grand challenges identified by the University:

Access to Justice and Legal Reform
Eligibility
Applications are currently open for three of the five fellowship categories. Candidates with demonstrated research capabilities and a strong academic background in the relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality, original research aligned with one or more of the identified thematic areas.

Publish research outputs contributing to academic and policy discourse.

Engage in collaborative initiatives, conferences, and workshops organised by NLSIU.
