About:
The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) is inviting applications for the position of Legal Manager at its Delhi office. The role involves managing sensitive legal matters, providing strategic advisory support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to non-profit organisations.
Eligibility:

LLB or Masters in Law with 8–10+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Expertise in laws applying to non-profits, including FCRA, Income Tax, GST, CSR, and labour regulations.

Prior experience in grants management will be an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide timely legal advisory on agreements, governance, and compliance.

Ensure compliance with NGO-specific, labour, tax, data protection, and other relevant laws.

Manage litigation and disputes, including coordinating with external counsel.

Oversee governance documentation, policy updates, and legal due diligence.

Conduct periodic legal trainings and leverage technology for efficient review processes.
