The Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen (UCPH) is inviting applications for two or more full-time open-rank positions in Sociology (Tenure-Track Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor). The Department is internationally recognized for research excellence and offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment in the heart of Copenhagen.
Eligibility:

PhD in Sociology or a closely related field.

Tenure-Track Assistant Professors: Emerging research profile with potential for international excellence.

Associate Professors: Established record of research, teaching, and supervision.

Full Professors: Agenda-setting scholars with a high degree of international academic impact.

Strong teaching, supervision, and collaborative skills.

Willingness to contribute to departmental citizenship and leadership roles.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct high-quality research in sociology and related areas.

Teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental administration.

Develop research projects, secure external funding, and engage in collaborative scholarship.

Support student welfare and enhance learning experiences.
