About the Opportunity
Sterlite Electric, a leading integrated power transmission developer and global solutions provider, is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager – ESG. The role involves aligning ESG goals with corporate objectives, ensuring integration of sustainability considerations across business operations, and driving impactful initiatives in line with international best practices.
Eligibility
-
4–5 years of experience in ESG, Sustainability, or related corporate roles

Prior work experience in the power sector in ESG at the corporate level preferred
-
Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement

Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting
Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor ESG and sustainability strategies and action plans
-
Collect, analyse, and report key ESG metrics such as carbon footprint, resource use, and governance practices
-
Support ESG risk identification, assessment, and mitigation in collaboration with business units
-
Prepare ESG reports aligned with various frameworks

Coordinate meetings, workshops, training, and presentations to build internal ESG capacity

Train and build capacity of internal stakeholders on sustainability practices

Identify and develop digital platforms for data capture and analysis
