The Department of Education Policy and Leadership at The Education University of Hong Kong invites applications for the position of Research Assistant I. The selected candidate will join an exciting project on university–society relations, with a focus on themes such as knowledge exchange, employability, and social entrepreneurship. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful international research while developing advanced analytical and academic skills.

Eligibility

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in education, social sciences, or related disciplines
Strong background in research methods and data analysis
Experience with software such as ATLAS.ti, NVivo, SPSS, or R is preferred
Excellent academic writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct literature reviews on higher education and university–society relations
Support qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
Assist with research outputs, including reports, academic articles, and presentations
Contribute to project coordination and knowledge dissemination activities
