About the Role
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is inviting applications for the position of Associate in its Indirect Tax team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a blend of advisory and litigation matters across diverse industries.
Eligibility

Enrolled advocates with prior experience in indirect tax matters (advisory and/or litigation)

Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
-
Ability to manage client interactions and deadlines effectively

Prior exposure to GST, customs, and excise-related issues will be an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities

Assisting in providing strategic advisory on indirect tax laws and compliance

Drafting and reviewing opinions, appeals, and replies to notices
-
Representing clients before statutory authorities and tribunals in indirect tax disputes
-
Conducting in-depth legal research and preparing case briefs

Supporting senior counsels in litigation strategy and hearings
