About the Opportunity
An edited collection titled The UN Human Rights Council at 20 is currently being prepared to mark two decades of the Council’s work. This volume, co-edited by Dr. Michael Lane and Dr. Amna Nazir, seeks to bring together contributions from scholars and practitioners that critically examine the role, performance, and future of the Human Rights Council within the international human rights framework.
Eligibility
The call is open to academics, researchers, and practitioners in law, international relations, and related disciplines with expertise in human rights, public international law, or global governance.
Roles and Responsibilities of Authors
- Submit an abstract outlining the proposed chapter for consideration.
- Prepare a full-length chapter upon acceptance, adhering to the editorial guidelines.
- Engage constructively with the editorial review process.
- Contribute original, unpublished work that advances the academic and practical understanding of the UN Human Rights Council’s 20-year journey.
