Opportunity for Associate Attorney – Immigration Law at Boston, MA (On-site with occasional remote flexibility)

About the Role

Kain Immigration, LLC is a Boston-based law firm dedicated exclusively to immigration law. Our practice covers complex matters involving family-based immigration, waivers, asylum, and removal proceedings. We are deeply committed to systemic change, community mentorship, and creating a more welcoming environment for immigrants.

The Associate Attorney will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload, attending immigration hearings and interviews across New England, and working closely with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Admission to the bar (recent graduates with relevant experience may apply, contingent on admission).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration law, which may include work as an attorney, law student, or paralegal.
  • Fluency in Spanish (mandatory).
  • Strong writing, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and excellence in legal representation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle immigration cases involving family petitions, waivers, asylum, and removal defense.
  • Represent clients in immigration hearings and interviews in New England.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring compassionate and professional service.
  • Draft legal documents, prepare filings, and conduct legal research.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s attorneys on advocacy, systemic reform, and mentoring initiatives within the immigration law community.
