York Law School, University of York, is inviting applications for two Lecturer positions in Law. Appointments may be made either on the Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) track or the Academic, Research and Teaching (ART) track. Eligibility
- Strong academic background in Law
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching and/or research (depending on track)
- Ability to contribute to York Law School’s distinctive, student-centred approach to legal education
- Early-career as well as experienced academics are encouraged to apply
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes
- (ART Track) Undertake high-quality research and produce impactful publications
- (T&S Track) Focus on pedagogical innovation and scholarship of learning and teaching
- Supervise students and support their academic development
- Contribute to the wider academic and administrative life of York Law School
