About the Competition
The Faculty of Law, Manipal University Jaipur, proudly presents the National PIL Drafting Competition 2025. The competition offers a platform for aspiring legal minds to showcase their ability to engage in impactful public interest advocacy. Participants will draft Public Interest Litigations (PILs) on carefully curated contemporary legal and social issues, reflecting their research, analytical skills, and legal drafting acumen.
Eligibility
- Open to students pursuing a 5-year integrated law programme or a 3-year LL.B. course.
- Participation can be individual or in teams of two members.
Prizes
- Winner: ₹10,000 + Certificate of Excellence
- 1st Runner-Up: ₹7,000 + Certificate of Excellence
- 2nd Runner-Up: ₹5,000 + Certificate of Excellence
- All participants will be awarded an e-certificate.

- Registration Deadline: 14 September 2025
- PIL Draft Submission: 3 October 2025
- Oral Rounds: 10 October 2025
- Results Declaration: 15 October 2025 (tentative)
