The Journal for Human Rights (Zeitschrift für Menschenrechte/zfmr) has announced a Call for Papers for its upcoming Issue 1/2026. This edition will focus on the theme “New Technologies and Human Rights”, exploring how AI, social media, and automated systems are reshaping societies and the implications these developments have for human rights. Contributions from diverse disciplines are encouraged, including historical, philosophical, legal, social scientific, natural scientific/technological, and educational perspectives.
Eligibility
Researchers, academics, practitioners, and students from any discipline related to the theme are eligible to submit. Interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral perspectives are highly welcome.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Submit an abstract outlining the proposed paper by 31 October 2025.
- Prepare a complete paper for submission by 15 February 2026, adhering to the journal’s academic and formatting guidelines.
- Engage with peer-review feedback and make necessary revisions before publication.
