Are you deeply interested in Indian politics, governance, and public policy? Here is an opportunity to work directly with the office of a Senior Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party (Lok Sabha) — in a fully remote capacity.
This internship is being offered through the Council for Policy Research and Analysis. It is ideal for those who wish to meaningfully engage in legislative processes and gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of a Member of Parliament’s office.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Students or recent graduates in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, or related fields

A sound understanding of Indian politics, governance, and current affairs

Ability to work independently in a remote environment with discipline and responsiveness
Responsibilities
Selected interns will be required to:

Undertake legislative and policy research

Draft questions, briefing notes, and speeches

Assist with communication and digital outreach

Support constituency-level project planning

Contribute to the daily functioning of the MP’s office
