About the Organisation
Indigenous Peoples Rights International (IPRI) is a global Indigenous-led organisation dedicated to protecting Indigenous human rights defenders and addressing criminalization, violence, and impunity against them. IPRI works at the intersection of advocacy, justice, and Indigenous sovereignty.
Eligibility
This role is ideal for an experienced Indigenous rights advocate who meets the following criteria:

At least 5+ years of experience in UN and private sector advocacy

Minimum 3 years of experience in program coordination and team leadership

Deep understanding of Indigenous rights and issues related to criminalization and corporate accountability

Strong skills in advocacy writing, strategy, and public representation

Cultural sensitivity, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with Indigenous communities globally
Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate IPRI’s international advocacy efforts before UN bodies and corporate accountability mechanisms

Develop and execute strategic advocacy campaigns

Collaborate with Indigenous leaders, networks, and allies to advance global Indigenous rights
-
Represent IPRI in international forums and high-level meetings

Supervise a team, contribute to program design, and produce impactful written advocacy materials
