About the Opportunity
Prof. Shouvik Kumar Guha (Associate Professor, NUJS) is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate for a collaborative research project titled ‘LegiSearch: Search Engine for Legislative Indian Legal Documents’, jointly conducted by NUJS, IIT Kharagpur, and IISER Kolkata.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at NUJS campus, Kolkata, with occasional outstation travel for data collection.
Eligibility
Candidates with relevant qualifications and interest in legal research, legislative documentation, or interdisciplinary law-tech projects are encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct structured legal research and assist in data collection

Collaborate with academic and technical teams

Travel for data collection as needed

Contribute to the development of the LegiSearch platform
Contract Details

Initial term: 6 months

Renewable for another 6 months based on performance
