The National Law University, Delhi (‘University’), through Project 39A, invites applications for the positions of Executive Director and Director on a contractual basis at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The initial contract term is one year, extendable annually at the University’s discretion.
About Project 39A
Project 39A draws inspiration from Article 39-A of the Indian Constitution, which promotes equal justice. The project focuses on litigation, research, and communication relating to legal aid, mental health, and access to justice within India’s criminal justice system.

– Report to Executive Director. – Assist in strategic planning, policy formulation, and daily operations. – Provide academic leadership. – Manage administration, budgeting, staffing, and projects. – Supervise research team. – Represent Project 39A nationally and internationally. – Lead grant and funding efforts. |
Salary
Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and aligned with University norms.
