Samanvaya Law & Partners is currently hiring Senior Legal Associates and Associates to join their dynamic and expanding legal team in New Delhi. The firm is seeking driven legal professionals with a strong foundation in civil and commercial laws, capable of handling a diverse range of responsibilities from litigation to transactional matters.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year or 5-year full-time programme) from a recognised university
- Experience:
- Registered lawyers with relevant experience
- Fresh graduates with substantial internship experience may also apply
- Skillset:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent drafting and legal research proficiency
- Effective organisational, negotiation, and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple legal tasks and collaborate within a team
- High interpersonal effectiveness and professional integrity
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate/Senior Associate, you will be expected to:
- Draft legal pleadings and appear before various courts and tribunals
- Draft, review, and vet legal agreements; advise clients across diverse legal issues
- Handle civil and commercial law matters extensively
- Work on transactional documents including M&A agreements, joint venture contracts, share purchase agreements, and commercial contracts
- Conduct thorough legal research, represent clients in legal proceedings, and provide actionable legal counsel
