About the Job
Lawlevelup is inviting applications for the position of Legal Assistant. This role is ideal for law graduates with at least 6 months of experience as a legal or executive assistant/secretary and offers a remote work arrangement.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should:

Have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills

Be a law graduate (3-year or 5-year full-time program)

Be a registered lawyer or a graduate with relevant legal experience or internship background

Be proficient in legal research, drafting, and interdepartmental coordination
Key Responsibilities
-
Review title deeds and chain of documents related to immovable property and prepare title search reports
-
Coordinate with external legal counsel to obtain SRO reports and legal opinions on property title matters
-
Liaise with the business team to provide guidance on property title status
-
Collect property documentation and historical papers from the registrar’s office in purchase transactions
-
Maintain a daily MIS for tracking legal vendor activities and billing
