The Society for Constitutional Law Discussion (TSCLD) invites applications from committed and enthusiastic law students to be part of its Editorial Team for the Academic Year 2025–26.

This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to one of India’s leading student-run platforms dedicated to critical constitutional discourse. Be part of a team that curates and publishes insightful legal analysis, facilitates rigorous academic debate, and promotes high-quality scholarship.


About TSCLD

TSCLD is a student-led initiative focused on promoting in-depth engagement with Constitutional Law. Through our blog, academic journal, and various initiatives, we offer a platform for nuanced discussions and legal analysis.

Editorial Positions Open

1. Managing Editor (Only for 5th-Year Law Students)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee designated sections/publications

  • Lead and coordinate a team of Senior Associate and Associate Editors

  • Ensure timely, high-quality publication

  • Contribute to strategic planning and editorial direction

Eligibility:

  • Final-year law students with proven leadership, editorial expertise, and prior experience in legal writing/editing.


2. Senior Associate Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Review manuscripts and provide substantive feedback

  • Collaborate with Associate Editors

  • Maintain editorial standards and contribute to guideline development

Eligibility:

  • Law students in 3rd to 5th year

  • Strong editing, analytical, and legal reasoning skills

  • Prior editorial experience preferred


3. Associate Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Review manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, and quality

  • Provide constructive feedback to authors

  • Work under the guidance of Senior Associate Editors

Eligibility:

  • Law students from 2nd to 5th year

  • Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and interest in Constitutional Law


4. Technical Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistency in formatting and citation

  • Assist in website management and online publication workflows

Eligibility:

  • Law students with strong technical and editorial formatting skills

  • Knowledge of citation styles (OSCOLA, Bluebook, etc.) essential
