Amity Law Review (ALR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Amity Law School. In circulation since 2000, ALR has maintained a reputation for high-quality legal scholarship, with contributions from academicians, professionals, and jurists. The journal covers a broad range of legal themes and strives to stay at the forefront of contemporary legal debates.

Call for Submissions

The journal invites submissions in the following categories:

  • Research Papers

  • Research Articles

  • Case Comments

  • Book Reviews

Eligibility:

  • Academicians, Professionals, and Jurists are invited to contribute.


Submission Guidelines

General Guidelines:

  • Co-authorship: Maximum of two authors per submission.

  • Abstract: Must accompany each submission, with a word limit of 250 words outlining the central theme(s) of the paper.

  • Keywords: Maximum of 5.

  • Categories & Word Limits:

    • Papers: 5000–7000 words (including footnotes).

    • Notes and Case Comments: 3000–5000 words.

    • Book Reviews: 1500–2000 words.

    • The Editors may accept longer submissions in appropriate cases.

Formatting Guidelines:

  • Language: British English spelling and punctuation conventions.

  • Font Style:

    • Main text: Times New Roman, size 12.

    • Footnotes: Times New Roman, size 10.

  • Headings Style:

    • First Heading: 12pt, Bold, Centre-aligned.

    • Second Heading: 12pt, Bold, Left-aligned.

    • Third Heading: 12pt, Italics, Centre-aligned.

  • Line Spacing:

    • Main text: 1.5.

    • Footnotes: 1.0.

  • Indentation: Left and Right indent of 0.5 on both sides.

  • References: Footnotes are to be used (not endnotes).

  • Cover Page: Authors must mention their name, contact details, and affiliations only on the cover page to facilitate anonymity.

Copyright:

The author must warrant that their submission does not infringe the copyright of any other person unless otherwise agreed. The copyright of the published articles will vest with Amity Law School, though the publisher will not be held liable for any copyright infringement.
