About the Opportunity
Uniphore is looking to hire an experienced Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing core legal functions across contracts, compliance, data protection, and legal operations.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management and Legal Support

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements

Support procurement teams (direct and indirect)

Review Data Protection Agreements and conduct Privacy Impact Assessments

Provide internal legal advisory to business, finance, and operations teams
Vendor & Facilities Legal Support
-
Ensure legal compliance during vendor onboarding
-
Support facilities with legal documentation and regulatory oversight
Corporate & Regulatory Compliance
-
Maintain and enhance the privacy compliance program
-
Address corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory issues
-
Support compliance for AI technologies and evolving data laws (e.g., EU AI Act)
Audit Support

Assist with legal aspects of internal and external audits

Ensure resolution of audit findings through legal compliance
Employment Law & HR Support
-
Advise HR on employment law and internal policies
-
Draft employment-related agreements and handle labor law matters
M&A Integration Legal Support

Provide legal support during post-acquisition integration
-
Mitigate risks associated with business expansion
Legal Operations and Technology
-
Optimize legal workflows through legal tech tools (e.g., Ironclad, Icertis)

Organize and manage contract repositories and legal documentation
-
Advise on implementing legal tech solutions to improve efficiency
Eligibility Criteria
-
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LLM or relevant certifications preferred
-
3 to 7 years of experience in commercial legal roles, preferably in-house
-
Strong expertise in contract negotiation and management
-
Working knowledge of employment law and compliance
-
Familiarity with CLM platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Streamline, Icertis)
-
Understanding of AI-related regulations and global data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA)

Experience in M&A legal processes is an advantage

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
-
Ability to manage high volumes of complex legal work under tight deadlines
