The Centre for Innovation, Incubation, Law, and Entrepreneurship (CIILE) was established at Chanakya National Law University, Patna to foster innovation and support startups in the fields of law and legal entrepreneurship. The Centre is committed to promoting research, incubation, and growth in areas like business law, finance law, and related fields. It serves as a hub for academic inquiry and collaboration, encouraging a dynamic dialogue between legal scholarship and the practical aspects of business innovation.


About the Blog

The CIILE Blog offers a platform for experts, students, and professionals to engage in discussions and share insights on contemporary issues in business law, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas, highlight recent legal developments, and showcase best practices relevant to the startup ecosystem and related areas.


Call for Blogs

The CIILE Blog is currently inviting original, unpublished, and analytical blog submissions on a rolling basis. The blog seeks to promote critical discussions on startups, business law, and innovation, encouraging submissions that delve into contemporary legal and interdisciplinary issues.


Eligibility

Submissions are invited from:

  • UG LL.B. and PG law students

  • Legal practitioners

  • Faculty members of law or management


Themes

While the central theme revolves around startups and related areas, submissions may cover, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Startup Ecosystem and Legal Framework

  2. Corporate Governance

  3. IP Management in Innovation

  4. Technology, Privacy, and Data Protection

  5. Mergers, Acquisitions, and Exits

  6. International Business Law

(Note: The above list is suggestive and not exhaustive.)


Submission Categories

  • Submissions should be analytical in nature (not descriptive).

  • Word limit: 1500–2000 words.

  • The submission must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Co-authorship is allowed (up to two authors).

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font Size: 12

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Alignment: Justified

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Citation Style: Hyperlinked references/Harvard Bluebook [20th Edition]

  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

  • Word count: Excludes citations

  • Keywords: Include five keywords with the submission.


Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: The article must be original and unpublished.

  • Plagiarism/AI Content: Any form of plagiarism or AI-generated content is strictly prohibited.

  • Tone: The content should not be offensive or against national interest.
