Position: Legal Counsel

Location: Hyderabad
Experience Required: 8+ years
Bar Membership: Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar

Roles and Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal clients, offering practical counsel on legal and business issues.
Provide legal guidance on company policies, risk management, and compliance.
Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of legal agreements and documents.
Support corporate legal projects and internal process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams, exercising sound business judgment in legal matters.
Help standardize legal processes and improve operational efficiency through legal tools and templates.

Eligibility Criteria

8+ years of legal experience, preferably including a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house counsel roles.
Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar.
Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
Demonstrated experience or interest in AI integration within legal workflows—such as using AI tools for decision-making, automation, or analysis.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex legal issues for diverse business audiences.
Proven collaboration and influencing skills, with a track record of constructive and solution-oriented problem-solving.
A law degree is mandatory.
